My daily skincare routine these past weeks is almost entirely made up of Centella Madagascar from Skin1004. I’ve seen a lot of reviews about the lines and their other products, and I am excited to share with you my own experience and impressions.

SKIN1004 is a Korean Skincare brand sim to provides natural ingredients to help the users achieve the best and clean skin. They succeeded in the collection of 100% pure Centella extract.

Madagascar Centella Light Cleansing Oil

Contains our main ingredient Madagascar Centella Asiatica together with 6 plant-based oils. Very mild cleansing oil that melts away surface impurities and makeup, and cleanses skin with a lightweight formula, leaving skin purified and refreshed.
Functions:
1. Removes makeup
2. Removes sebum and oil
3. Cleanses your face thoroughly so you don't need to double cleanser.

HOW TO USE:
Apply a few pumps of cleansing oil onto a dry face with dry hands. Massage gently in circular motions. Emulsify with water to create a milky emotion before rinsing off completely with lukewarm water.
I've tried many cleansing oil in different brands, but this one is mild and the scent is very therapeutic which I loved. The consistency of the Madagascar Centella Light Cleansing Oil is liquid and oily. The packaging is very neat, clean, and minimalist, and comes with a white pump.
 
I rarely go out and wear makeup since my job is home-based, but I continue using the Cleansing Oi because it does give me a good result because of the exfoliation functions, even if I don’t frequently wear make-up still good to use.
I used the Centella Light Cleansing Oil after shower in the morning to clean my face even without makeup. I like it because the formula is very light and cleans my skin. This product is created to clean and remove makeup and it does her job very well.

This Ampoule Foam will not leave your skin feeling “squeaky clean” which is bad for your skin as it will produce more oil and might cause acne. This helps maintain healthy skin pH balance and skin barrier with gentle finish and no irritation.

Note: The results in an experiment of the Korean Dermatological Research Institute show that 92.69% of the ultrafine dust has been cleaned using this product.

One of the uses of this line is this foam cleanser since I shower 2 times a day and I am totally in love with this cleanser.

This Centella Ampoule Foam contains natural soda powder and is suitable for sensitive skin, and removes makeup residues. The consistency of the Centella Ampoule Fosm is very creamy and foamy, the texture is similar to a clay mask, and the scent is earthy with mild properties from organic coconut, not too powerful, and it's bearable. Just a little amount of the cleanser goes a long way, my skin looks very clean and fresh after I used this cleanser.

 
 
A non-irritating exfoliator suitable for all skin types, especially sensitive skin. It helps keep the skin moist, bright, and wrinkle-free. Contains Centella Asiatica extract from the unsullied island of Madagascar, and PHA, which helps clean off dead skin cells, for a more hydrated and clean skin.
 
The PHA, noted for its compatibility with sensitive skin, softens and brightens dull skin by exfoliating dead skin cells, while the high concentration level of Centella Asiatica and Hyaluronic acid help to calm and hydrate the skin. It also has Niacinamide which helps reduce blemishes for light and healthy skincare.
Note: Contains less than 1% of Niacinamide (with whitening function) and PHA to make sure it’s suitable for all skin types, even damaged, sensitive, and acne-prone skin. It also only has 15 natural ingredients so it’s a low-irritant toner.

The Centella Toning Toner is a water-type of toner, hydrating and perfect for calming the skin. I loved this toner because it's mild, and it gives my skin a really amazing dewy result and at the same time removed some dirt, and helps to removed dead skin cells. It has whitening and anti-wrinkling, which provide to maintain the brightness and moisture of the skin, I can say that this toner helps my little-faded dark spot leftover from my previous acne. I have a problem treating my darskpot and it takes a lot of time to heal, and I can see the changes from using this toner. I highly recommend it!

Madagascar Centella Cream

The Cream is good for hydrating sensitive and dry skin. Non-greasy. This cream repairs

your outer skin surface and protects it from external irritants. It contains Niacinamide and Adenosine which helps brighten skin and provide wrinkle care, plus 4 active ingredients of Centella Asiatica. It has a dewy and creamy texture and no artificial fragrance added.

Centella Asiatica Extract: Soothes and replenishes skin hydration level.

Squalene: Forms a protective barrier for skin.

Niacinamide: Helps with brightening the skin's complexion.

 

HOW TO USE:

Apply appropriate amount on face and pat gently with both palms for absorption. Use it as last step of skincare routine.

 

The Madagascar Centellas Cream comes in the tube and squiz packaging. One of my fave skincare is a moisturizer after the serum, while the texture is creamy, very lightweight, and gel-like cream, this cream absorbs into the skin immediately, I find it easy to apply and spread throughout my skin, I usually apply this in the morning. It's soothing and moisturizing, this works a lot if you are in humid weather, it gives a total hydrated skin together with soothing cream, I can tell that it cream works very well on my skin.

Madagascar Centella Soothing Cream

 

The Soothing Cream is more of a skin barrier cream that is also hydrating. This is perfect for all skin types. It strengthens your inner skin barrier to help keep the skin's natural moisture. It has a cooling effect that helps calm skin. It's a gel type so it's easily absorbed by your skin.

KEY INGREDIENTS: Centella Asiatica Extract: Soothes and replenishes skin hydration level. 3 inter-skin lipid components(Ceramide, Fatty Acid, Cholesterol): A topical supplement of the 3 elements that are found in the outer layer of the skin.

HOW TO USE: Apply appropriate amount on face and pat gently with both palms for absorption. Use it as the last step of the skincare routine. This Madagascar Centella Soothing Cream is my number one fave from this line, I really enjoy applying this soothing cream to my skin. The cooling and refreshing effects feel so comforting.

The Madagascar Centella Soothing Cream consistency is gel cream, and very lightweight, it aims to moisturize and hydrate the skin, what I like about it, it that's has a Shea butter and this ingredient is one of my favorites for those prone to acne skin types and I love the scent.

Step-by-step instructions:

1. Cleansing Oil - Pump appropriate amount on dry hands. Emulsify with water and gently massage your face until makeup is dissolved. Massage until milky and rinse with lukewarm water.

2. Ampoule Foam - Squeeze appropriate amounts and create foam using water with hands. Gently massage your whole face. Rinse thoroughly with lukewarm water.

3. Toning Toner - After face wash, soak a cotton pad with toning toner. Gently wipe your face with the pad. Pour a small amount of toner on your hand and spread thoroughly on your face.

4. Ampoule - Apply directly onto your face and massage. Let your skin absorb the product.

5. Soothing Cream / Cream - Squeeze appropriate amounts, spread gently on the skin, and tap lightly to absorb.

Overall, I love the Centella line, and I can't even go without the Soothing Cream, I always make sure to have it daily because it moisturizes and helps my skin glow naturally and at the same time works on healing my dark spot, you can see it from before photo, and my skin becomes so smooth and looks always hydrated. I like their formula, non-irritating and it blends on the makeup very well. I would highly recommend this line if you want to upgrade your skincare products, they suit sensitive skins and I can confirm that it works amazingly on my skin I love the results in just 10 days. I will continue to use these products and support the brand.
