Skin1004 Centella Collection: Do I have favourites?

Hey lovely people? Have you guys tried products from Skin1004?

In the beginning of this year, I was lucky enough to win two products from the brand which I truly enjoyed. If you haven’t read my blog about it, it’s here! This time, I am so delighted to wrap up the year with the brand’s Centella Collection, how awesome is that?

Let me run through the products

Centella Light Cleansing Oil

A lightweight oil with fair scent, this curation contains botanical extracts to prevent skin irritation. This cleansing oil could wipe out heavy makeup without any stinging, I now understand why it’s hyped! Only downside is its pump which did not work on me, it did not open when twisted which was quite inconvenient for my use.

Centella Ampoule Foam

This peculiar-looking cleanser contains Centella Asiatica and naturally-derived Coconut oil which claims to moisturize the skin. It comes out like candy but lathers nicely onto the skin. It does not strip nor dry out after use. Truly, my skin is moisturized after wash. I think it’s a new favourite!

Centella Toning Toner

This toner is infused with PHA for gentle exfoliation and contains Hyaluronic acid and Niacinamide for moisture and brightening finish. While all these claims are true to my experience, this toner remains at bay because of other toners I’ve used that yield much better results. Not a must-have but it’s good-to-have kind of toner 🙂

Centella Ampoule

This is a bottle with 100% Centella Asiatica extract that claims to soothe, moisturize, and strengthen the skin barrier. Happy to say, these claims are true to me! I love this ampoule and I can’t leave the house without it. Not to mention, the size is quite huge which will certainly last me for more than a month! It’s another favorite, y’all!

Centella Soothing Cream

First impression – weird! I am a visual learner and seeing creams of such color feels odd to me. But technically, this is packed with 3 inter-skin lipid components to help repair the skin barrier. It has a gooey texture but light enough when applied. A little goes a looong way, too! It’s not greasy and even cool for oily, acne-prone skin. It’s a must-try but not my bet, though.

Centella Quick Calming Pad

These 70 pads are divine! They’re meant to soothe, hydrate, and condition the skin for the next steps of the routine. Unlike other pads I’ve tried, this one is not frail. The three-layer pads are cool and generously soaked with essence. The essence absorbs quickly without leaving any residue behind. Ditch the face masks; this, my friends, is a MUST-have!

Centella Air-Fit Suncream Light

This physical sunscreen claims to block UV rays while brightening the skin. Unlike the Hyalu-Cica Water-Fit Sun Serum, this right here is a bit creamy and tacky. There is a bit of a white cast and took quite longer to blend. Nevertheless, it’s not greasy nor oily and it’s pleasant on the skin.

The line is awesome and apparently, I am sold with Centella Ampoule Foam, Centella Ampoule, and Centella Quick Calming Pad.
