Even post midyear, summer in Dubai is still up and running! The scorching heat can sometimes be extreme that going out without sunscreen is practically painful. Thankfully, I am using yet another lovely SPF from Skin1004. On this blog, I’m going to share my experience about one of the brand’s best-selling products, the Hyalu-Cica Water-Fit Sun serum with SPF50+ PA++++.

My Experience
A. Packaging
This chemical sunscreen comes in a 50-ml pump. The color is soothing blue which subtly supports its claims of hydration. The design is super clean and minimal which I personally love.
B. Product
The texture is very lightweight, almost runny yet holds up together when applied on the skin. This might explain why it’s called as “serum”. It’s super easy to blend with my BB cream, leaving no white cast at all. If you are like me who’s fond of dewy finishes, this SPF will give you that fresh-natural-dewy feel that’s perfect for daily wear and look. I do have an oily skin type but it did not feel greasy at all!
This can be tricky, though. I shared it with a friend who has a dry skin type and she found the texture tacky and a bit sticky on her face. This explains how products vary from person to person. But anyhow, it’s perfectly working for me.
A little goes a long way, too! With my experimental side, I tried applying more and it was surprisingly as pleasant as the former. It was lightweight and airy enough to be set nicely on the skin.
Throughout the day, I get comments from colleagues that I look glowing which was obviously caused by a combination of products used. But I would like to believe that this sunscreen has also something to do with it.
Additionally, I don’t honestly have something against this product. It served the purpose and it lives up to its expectations. Most importantly, my skin loves it and for me, that’s what truly matters.
Overall, it has been true to its claim – it protects, hydrates, and moisturizes the skin! Apparently, I’m giving this product 5 over 5 stars!

– I applied it at the last step of my morning skincare routine
– I re-applied when necessary especially when I am out or directly exposed to the sun
